Integrating Rain Collection with Aquaponics for Sustainable Water Management
I wanted to build a water collection system near the vegetable garden. This combines the idea of aquaponics with collecting water with rain barrels. If the plan works out, then it should provide shade for an outdoor worm farm and mushroom farm, and reduce mosquitos in the area. It should also provide algae control in the barrels, organic fertilizer and water to the garden, and controlled moisture to the hot/cold composting piles.
